NFS Shift vs. Shift 2: Unleashed
Hey everyone! It has been a really busy month and I haven't paid any attention to my blog. Sad, because I've lost some followers too. Altrought I haven't touched my blog in weeks, I was still trying out some new, fresh games on PC like Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Shift 2: Unleashed and Crysis 2.
Anyway, I finnaly decided to upload a new video and I had an idea about Shift and Shift 2 comparison. Playing Shift 2 itself, I didn't find it interesting at all. It's almost the same as the first game, but only with worse controls, interface and graphics. In the video, Shift 2 looks nice, because all the low resolution textures are greatly zoomed out, but in the game they look ugly. The game itself looks crap and I was expecting so much more from it. I was hoping for more simulation style of gameplay, but instead we got almost the same game experience, only worse. The only thing they added to this "new" game is a view from drivers helmet. Some people find it fun and realistic, but for - annoying. So all in all Shift 2 feels like a game that could have used a few more months of development. It feels bad, it plays bad and it needs some more work.

Soon
Hey guys! I'm really sorry about not uploading any new videos. It's because of school. I have much things to do and there isn't any time left for gaming. But this is the last week until spring holidays, so I'm sure I will upload some of my gaming footage. See you soon!

My Minecraft creations
It's been awhile since my last post. I haven't got much time for blogging at the moment so I created a quick video showing my Minecraft creations followed by a beautiful music from The Elder Scrolls Oblivion soundtrack.
What I love most about Minecraft is building and not in editor. I'm not big of a miner, but I gather my materials manualy and when I get enough of them, I spend most of the gameplay time building houses, bridges and other stuff. In this video I'm only showing you my noticable creations. I have many more houses and other stuff built around the map, but it would take too much time to show it all. Enjoy!

My first Crysis 2 Multiplayer experience
Here it is - my first Crysis 2 multiplayer experience like I promised.
So basicly the game is just a remake of the popular Call of Duty style multiplayer. You spawn, you run around looking for enemies, you shoot, you get killstreaks. There are 3 perks, customisable weapons and so on. It's another run'n'gun, but with some interesting features. For example nanosuits. Altrough maximum armor isn't much of a protection and in my view it's useless(few more shots than usual and your dead), but invisibility and maximum power are pretty interesting features to make the gameplay more interesting. You can ambush your enemies, jump sky high and then stomp the ground (could work pretty well in Domination kind of gameplay) and other stuff.
Anyway Crysis is popular because of its stunning graphics. First Crysis had a beutifuly detailed landscape and lighting effects. Crysis 2 also has beutifuly detailed world, but it's just not that anymore. Blown to pieces New York City does not look as stunning as green, live, palm rich island. Also the lighting effects in Crysis 2 are too strong. As you can see in the video light comming from the sun is too damn strong. It's way too overlighted. Sometimes I even can't see s***. I almost need sunglasses to play it. Another "special" effect that is overdone is motion blur. All the animations look terrific in Crysis 2, but they are way too blurry. I mean, all the damn game is way too blurry. You can't see that in the video, but as you'll play it for yourself you will notice it. Basicly the game doesn't look as sharp as the first Crysis did.
My PC performance actually was better than I expected. Mostly it ran smoothly and without any fps issues. Of course there were some fps drops here and there, but it's not that bad. Fps were 50-35 on Very High or as Crytek likes to call it now - Hardcore. Yeah the graphical settings are no longer so customisable. Now the settings are split in 3 parts - gamer, advanved, hardcore. If you ask me, awkward thing to do. Every gamer likes the standart settings, why did they have to mess it up? To excel from the others? I don't know.
Well that was my gameplay and graphics review. Thanks for reading!

Crysis 2 PC demo
Sup. So the new Crysis 2 Multiplayer demo came out. From the first looks, it doesn't look that much impressive. First of all the graphics - what the hell? It looks only a half from what they promised. There are no longer huge maps, no more vechicles, no more trees falling down when you shoot them. Basicly this game ( Multiplayer ) is just a remake of Call of Duty, only with Nanosuits. I will post a video of my first gameplay as soon as I will get into a server. And yeah, it takes ages to connect one.
